COLOMBIA
Over the summer I went to Colombia. It was the most amazing place I've ever been. While I was there I visited the Pico Cristobal Colon, which is the highest mountain in Colombia. It has a whopping height of about 18,700 feet. On he top of the mountain there were two rams battling it out and one was much bigger than the other, they were getting really close to the edge...and, well the big one pushed the little one off. When I was on my way down, near the bottom there was a village cooking something that smelled really good, and as I walked up to see what it was , I found out it was the ram that got pushed over the edge! It was not a good day for that ram.

In Colombia they have some unique food and clothing. Most Columbians have a western style clothing. Some of the upper class people wear things like dark colored suits, while farmers and lower class people wear loose shirts or pants. Food is different in the different regions of Colombia. In one area I ate a roasted ant, and someone offered me a guinea pig, but I didn't want to try anything to weird. But, what is really unique is that in other regions they wouldn't even touch those type of meals.
At the end of our trip we went to the Capital of Colombia, Bogota. It is in a weird place. It is 8646 feet high in the Andes mountain. It is a beautiful city with everything including, churches universities, theaters, and Shantytowns, whatever those are.
